Summer 2021 | Team Growth + Beach Villas

AN UPDATE FROM THE DIGITAL FRONTIER

Hello Friends!

What a ride this last season was for BOLDR Viz. We've hired two new teammates, opened an office in Mexico and started exploring Unreal Engine 5.

As life started returning to normal we designed a resort on the Beach of Oaxaca, Mexico. The renders are showcased below as our Seasonal Highlight.

Thank you so much to all of our awesome clients. Your continuous support allows us to research the future of Arch Viz and we can't wait to expand our services and show you what is next!

SEASONAL HIGHLIGHT

Beach Villas
Team: Luis Lopez, Lem Urbano and Mike Sudolsky

With the end of the pandemic nearing, all of us are due for some well deserved rest and relaxation. This project depicts a seaside resort with tranquil villas only a stones throw away from Mexico's white sand beaches.

Once again, we chose to explore the Corona Rendering Engine for this passion project. Corona has proven to bounce realistic lighting much more efficiently throughout the scene than with Vray, and produces photorealistic renderings with ease.

STUDIO UPDATES

Two new faces have joined the BOLDR Viz team.
Meet Luis and Eli!

Eli has transitioned to BOLDR from a career in Alpine Real Estate and Ski Area Design and holds a degree in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly SLO. He will be joining Mike in our Denver office.

Luis is talented 3D Artist with many successful years of experience working as an Architect in Mexico City. Luis will be leading our Corona Studio and our Merida, Mexico office.

We are excited to have them on board and can't wait for you to meet them!

PASSION PROJECT HIGHLIGHT
2 WAY HOUSE
Team: Dariele Polinar

We often task our team with an exercise of "photo matching" in which we take famous works of architecture and replicate them, challenging each other to learn new programs along the way.
.
This is BOLDR artist Dariel Polinar's rendition of the renowned San Francisco home "Two Way House". For this project, Dariele explored the use of RailClone for parametric modeling.

BOLDR IN THE PRESS
Four Seasons at Cabo Del Sol
Team: Lem Urbano, Dariele Polinar, Patrick Tria, Arvin Villamor and Mike Sudolsky

BOLDR had the pleasure of working with numerous groups to produce a set of rendered images for the upcoming Four Seasons at Cabo Del Sol. Check out some of the renderings we produced in the article below!

BOLDR artist Dariele Polinar's entry to the CG Architect "Building Utopia Competition" received a 3rd place ranking!

The competition was based on visualizing a scene using the newly premiered real-time rendering software by Chaos Group called Vantage

BOLDR 2021 SUMMER IMPACT
COMMUNITY PANTRIES

This season we chose to get involved with a GoFund Me led by our friends over at BOLDR Impact to bring community pantries to Metro Manila in the Philippines.

The Philippines has suffered a devastating blow from the COVID pandemic and is currently living in one of the longest ongoing "lockdowns" across the globe. The prolonged closures of businesses has left many daily wage workers and their families in a really difficult situation.

BOLDR Impact's Community Pantry project is helping to provide struggling Filipinos with daily needs and is supported by local volunteers in the BOLDR Family.
