THE IMPERIAL
Visualizing the Future of Alpine Hospitality
INTRO
The Imperial is a luxury hotel and private residence in Breckenridge, Colorado, designed to bring a new level of alpine hospitality to the base of Peak 8. BOLDRVIZ partnered with the project team to create a visualization package of static imagery and animation to support marketing, sales design communication and stakeholder alignment before construction was complete.DEVELOPER

OVERVIEW:
Looking to sell more than a building - The Imperial wanted to convey its seasonal alpine lifestyle. The project combines private residences, hotel hospitality, mountain access and resort style amenities in one of Colorado's most recognizable ski destinations.
For BOLDRVIZ, the challenge was to translate a multidisciplinary design vision into clear, compelling visuals, while maintaining accuracy. Custom landscape assets, architectural materials, and environmental details were created to portray the project across multiple seasons and communicate the full guest experience. We combined CGI Animation, Stock Videography and AI Motion Stills to help tell a story of two seasons at the Imperial.
OUR ROLE
BOLDRVIZ supported the project through a full visualization process, translating architectural drawings, material references, landscape intent, and hospitality programming into a cohesive visual story.Rather than treating each rendering as a standalone image, we approached the project as a connected guest journey“BOLDRVIZ helped us translate a complex hospitality and residential project into a clear, compelling visual story. Their team understood the importance of accuracy, atmosphere, and design intent, and the final imagery gave us the tools we needed to communicate The Imperial with confidence.”

THE CHALLENGE
Luxury hospitality projects require more than technical accuracy. The imagery had to communicate mood, lifestyle, scale, and aspiration. For The Imperial, that meant balancing architectural precision with an alpine atmosphere — snow, warm light, mountain views, and the feeling of a refined retreat.LANDSCAPE ASSETS
We scattered over 50 custom assets to portray Trees, Bushes, Grasses and Ground Cover plants as specified.
ENVIRONTMENT MODELING
We imported the surrounding mountain topography to understand views and accurate site conditions.SEASONAL VARIATION
We utilized scene states and created two versions of the project, one in summer, one in winter.CUSTOM 3D MATERIALS
We refined existing assets and textured new ones to match architectural and landscape material specs.RESULT
The final visualization package gave the project team a polished visual foundation for marketing, sales and stakeholder communication. The imagery helped translate a complex hospitality and residential development into a clear emotional experience - warm, alpine and highly memorable.
